Our Israel Adventure

Over the next season my wife Jody and our three sons will be basing in Jerusalem, Israel. Over the last few years, we have made several trips to this sacred city and have felt that a time would come when we would spend several months investing in this critical part of the world.
I will be speaking in Egypt, October 1-4 and then speaking in Jerusalem during the week of October 5-9 at a conference hosted by Tom Hess from the Jerusalem House of Prayer. This conference will host leaders from over 70 nations.
I am also in the final stretch of my doctoral studies at Fuller Seminary. I will be taking this time to study in an environment that is the ultimate place for reflection on the larger issues of the Christian faith.
Over the last few years, our church, Bethel World Outreach Center, has grown to six campuses in the greater Nashville area, with a seventh location in the works. Each of these congregations are led by excellent Pastors and staff. I serve as both Pastor of the Brentwood congregation as well as the Senior Minister overseeing all of the locations in the city.
In my absence, Pastor James Lowe wil lead the Brentwood congregation, along with a very exceptional team of Pastors. Pastor Steve Murrell will serve as the overseer of the city- church during this season. We know that this will be a fantastic time for our entire church as everyone steps up and fulfills their God – given calling to make disciples as well as make a difference in the city.
Bethel’s mission of “Reaching a City, to Touch the World” burns bright in our hearts. We deeply appreciate a church that can release us at various seasons to serve God’s purposes in other nations. We feel that this is an important time to be in Israel and that God will bless Bethel as a result.
We will be praying for all of you and trust you will be praying for us.
