Posted by Rice on Jun 27, '07 8:52 PM for everyone The past few days we have been with the ministry of Tribe of Levi, led by Scott Brenner here in Korea. Hundreds of mostly young people gathered for this inspiring time of worship and teaching. Scott and his wife Song Hee have actually been members of Bethel for the past four years and have split their time between Korea and America.
We have been able to partner with them to serve the churches of Korea as well as encourage our EN church here in Seoul led by Simon Sugh. Yesterday was rather historic for us as we distributed the first Purple Books in Korean.(pictured here is an afternoon training session) It was an honor to talk to the people about the importance of strong Biblical foundations in order to stand firm for Christ in this generation.
These are amazing times to be alive. Being here in Korea reminds of the truth of the verse, "the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." We must not lose our focus in these important days, but pray like never before for laborers to be sent into "His harvest".
While we are trusting God to go through all the open doors around the world, we are ever mindful of our work at home in Nashville. God has given us a wonderful group of people at Bethel who have a passion for the purposes of God. We as pastors are determined to help equip every person and every family to be filled with the joy of knowing that their lives are making a difference.
We want to see the fantastic miracles happening all over the world happen in America. If we shake off the blinders of unbelief and begin to honor God and His Word again as a nation, we will once again see His glory descend upon our land. |
